The strong magnetic fields near a neodymium magnet can affect pacemakers, ICDs and other implanted medical devices. Many of these devices are designed to deactivate in magnetic fields. Care must be taken to avoid inadvertently deactivating such devices.
Powerful attraction forces can cause serious injury!
Neodymium magnets are more powerful than other kinds of magnets. The incredibly powerful force between magnets can often be surprising to those unfamiliar with their strength. Fingers and other body parts can be pinched between two magnets. With larger magnets, injuries of this type can be severe.
Magnets can affect magnetic media and clothes!
The strong magnetic fields near neodymium magnets can damage magnetic media such a key fobs, credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassette tapes and video tapes. They can also damage televisions, laptops, VCR’s, computer monitors and CRT displays. Avoid placing neodymium magnets near electronic appliances. If Harness is worn under streetwear, skateboards with grip tape may leave mark on certain materials over time.

Skateboarding is an inherently dangerous sport and safety equipment should be used at all times, especially a helmet. Low speed accidents can still cause serious injury and/or death. Don’t be too cool for safety equipment and risk your life. Even the pros use a helmet and pads. Always watch out for cars while riding on surface roads open to traffic and follow all pedestrian rules. Always skate within your abilities and use common sense while riding. Check your equipment to make sure everything is in proper working condition prior to skating.
